Jenny Lam, DPM, AACFAS

Dr. Jenny Lam was born and raised in Long Beach, CA. She attended the University of California, Irvine and graduated with Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences. To pursue her dreams, she moved to the Bay area and received her a Doctorate in Podiatric Medicine at the California School of Podiatric Medicine in Oakland, CA. Dr. Lam completed her 3-year Reconstructive Rearfoot/Ankle Surgery residency at St. Mary’s Medical Center in San Francisco, CA, which emphasized in trauma, sports medicine, and wound care. While in her residency, she worked in busy Trauma Level-1 Centers such as Highland Hospital and San Francisco General Hospital which exposed her to difficult pathology and complicated surgical cases.

Due to her interest in sports medicine, she decided to pursue additional training and applied to the prestigious American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons approved fellowships. Out of only 10 positions available in California, Dr. Lam was selected for the SSC Sports Medicine Fellowship in Irvine, CA. During her one-year fellowship alone, she scrubbed in over 400 surgical procedures and treated with significant amount of athletes and patients with active lifestyles.

Dr. Lam believes in educating her patients and including them in their healing process to help them get back to their activities faster. Her team approach to medicine helps to promote self-empowerment and to prevent further or recurrent injuries. Dr. Lam is available to treat all foot and ankle aliments, but has passion and experience in sports medicine injuries, trauma, and elective surgery, such as bunions and hammer toes.

During her free time, Dr. Lam is always searching for new local restaurants or traveling with her husband. Otherwise, she can be found at the gym working on her high intensity interval training or is constantly trying to improve her golfing skills. Dr. Lam would be honored to be a part of your care.

Melissa Loja, MD, MAS, FACS, FSVS, RPVI

Dr. Melissa Loja, MD, MAS, FACS, FSVS, RPVI, completed medical school at the University of California at Davis. She went on to be among the first in the nation to complete a specialized integrated vascular surgery residency program at the University of California at Davis. Dr. Loja was selected for the highly competitive NIH funded T32 research grant, which led to widely cited publications. She attained a Master’s degree in Clinical and Translational research from these efforts. In addition, she holds a Bachelor’s degree in Biologic Sciences, also obtained at the University of California at Davis.

Christyn Marshall, DPM, AACFAS, is a podiatrist who brings more than half a decade of experience to Diablo Podiatry and Bay Vascular, serving people of all ages in San Ramon, California, and throughout Contra Costa County.

Dr. Marshall began her professional education at California Polytechnic University in San Luis Obispo, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in kinesiology. Afterward, she enrolled at Samuel Merritt University in Oakland, California, and earned her Doctor of Podiatric Medicine.
